John Betjeman a poet, broadcaster and Victorian architecture saviour, was a child parishioner at St Saviours church in Highbury and Islington. The piece acts a post-mortem confessional from Betjeman himself, mixing coherent ideology with false memories and mute arguments. Humour is a powerful tool in the work, with a sense of absurdity permeating the underlying sharp political agenda.
